Gantry Crane Projects

Installation of a 50 Ton Gantry Crane for Tunnel Construction in Russia

In response to the increasing demand for efficient lifting solutions in tunnel construction, our company was commissioned to provide a 50 ton gantry crane to a tunnel construction project in St. Petersburg, Russia. This project required a specialized gantry crane capable of managing substantial waste materials in the tunnel.

Crane Specifications and Requirements for Tunnel Project

  • Lifting Capacity: 50 tons
  • Span: 40 meters
  • Lifting Height: 80 meters
  • Effective Single Cantilever: 5 meters
  • Purpose: Efficiently lift and manage waste materials in tunnel construction.

Given these requirements, our design team engineered a specialized gantry crane tailored to meet the demanding conditions of tunnel construction, including high lifting height and substantial span to ensure optimal performance.

50 Ton Gantry Crane in Russia

Production of the 50 Ton Gantry Crane for Russian Tunnel Project

The crane was manufactured at our state-of-the-art facility. Key stages of production included:

Steel Fabrication: High-strength steel was used to construct the crane’s frame, ensuring it could support the 50-ton lifting capacity and endure the operational stresses.

Component Assembly: Components such as the hoist, trolley, and control systems were meticulously assembled and tested for precision and reliability.

Quality Control: Each component underwent rigorous quality checks and inspections to adhere to international safety standards.

Delivery and Logistics of 50T Gantry Crane to Russia

Transport: Given the size and weight of the 50 ton gantry crane, a detailed logistics plan was developed to ensure safe and timely delivery. The crane was disassembled into manageable sections for transport, with each section securely packed to prevent damage during transit.

Arrival in St. Petersburg: The crane was delivered to the construction site in St. Petersburg, where our team coordinated with local logistics partners to handle offloading and site preparation.

On-site Installation And Testing of the Crane in Russia

Installation: The installation team hired by the client company conducted the assembly of the crane on-site, with the Aicrane installation engineers providing on-site installation guidance.

Testing: Once assembled, the crane underwent a comprehensive load testing process to verify its lifting capacity and operational efficiency.

Training: Our team also provided on-site training for the client’s operators to ensure they were fully acquainted with the crane’s controls and safety features.
